This subcomponent aims to improve the enabling institutional and policy foundation for integrated landscape management and climate change resilience in Nigeria – with an initial focus on ACReSAL activities but also for a longer-term enabling environment for dryland management. Thissubcomponent will include support to federal-level MDAs and to all states in northern Nigeria for monitoring infrastructure, institutional infrastructure, specialized consultancies, knowledge products, policy environment, capacity-building and outreach, and PES. Support will be included for systems for improving remote preparation and supervision of investments (for example, through use of satellite imagery, drones, cameras, and videoconferencing).
